“the apartment does not meet the description and even more so my expectations. the conditions are terrible.”
“Corporate Housing was great; seamless process and the place met expectations.”
“Great location. Mostly clean. You have everything you might need for cooking. The place is a bit rundown, might need some renovation here and there. Single glass windows, so you hear everything that is happening outside. And you can't control the heating.”Read More
“I spent 1.5 months in this listing. I can say after spending a month at a different Airbnb in the UES that this is NOT a good value. You can tell from the moment that you walk up the stairs that this is not what you would expect for what you are paying - it is simply run down. The apartment itself has a decent sized living room and bedroom, but the bathroom is tiny and the kitchen is virtually non-existent for the purposes of cooking. We had some issues getting bit by bugs. Took pictures of bites and small circular items we found on the mattress which we believed to be eggs. After fighting with the host and Airbnb, we moved back in after spending a few nights at a hotel. The ultimate result was that the host called an exterminator who determined we didn't have bed bugs. However, we felt this was a conflict of interest considering the host called the exterminator instead of Airbnb, and we were definitely getting bit by something. We weren't sure if the host had a prior relationship with the exterminator and if they were reputable. We asked for an answer as to what was found on the mattress and apparently "could be many things" was an acceptable answer for the host and Airbnb. Host cut off communication entirely with me when pressed further; replying "we consider this matter closed". So, we never did get a clear answer on what was found on our bed which was extremely disappointing. Airbnb did give us $200 which I suppose was a nice gesture, but they really didn't help us what so ever in this dispute. I'm honestly the type of person who would never write a review like this unless I had an extremely bad experience - hence me writing this today. I would end by saying there are much better values to be found in the UES for longer-term corporate stays.”Read More
“Great spot. Clean and comfortable. Easy access to public transportation and anything you need”
“I stayed here for two and a half months and I had a wonderful time. It was a treat to live in NYC again. The apartment is nice and clean and close to the 4-5-6 subways, Whole Foods, Fairway, and Central Park. There are plenty of services, bars and restaurants in the area. Besides the bedroom, there is a leather sofa and love seat and the sofa has a pull-out bed. I utilized the whole apartment- iron, microwave, stove and refrigerator. There is free Wi-Fi which I used with my ipad and Roku. Thank you, USA Stay, I enjoyed it!”Read More
