“Stayed here for a week and a half. Apartment is quite nice, decently furnished. Amenities are excellent and there are a number of nice touches - detergent for the Washer/Dryer, coffee machine with coffee, toaster and more kitchen items then I necessarily expect. Tons of towels and even extra pillows. The small things like that are much appreciated. There was an issue coming in due to the late hour, but after sorting things out the host was responsive and addressed my issues. It was also great to have a parking spot as I rented a car for a few days. Best thing about the apartment is the location. It's casual 10 minute walk to the Menlo Park Caltrain station for an hour ride into downtown San Francisco or 40 minutes to San Jose Airport. It's 5 minutes to the free BO shuttle that will take you to the Stanford Campus. If you are feeling like walking, its only 20 minutes to Palo Alto. There are also plenty of restaurants and grocery stories within a few minutes walk, including Trader Joe's, a decent Mexican place, and a really good FishNChips and both Starbucks and Peet's. And the price I paid was an absolute steal considering most hotels in this area average around $250 enough. I would definitely stay again.”
“The host was quick to respond and even came over to kill a spider for me, although he didn't seem to happy because he walked out the door when I was talking to him and I thought that was rude. The apartment is dated but remodeled beautifully and a nice size. It was well stocked with cooking and eating utensils. The check-in process was a breeze. The apartment is located on the second floor and if your car is bigger than a Fiat, chances are it won't fit or you won't be able to get in and out of your car. There is plenty of street parking and you can park in front of the carport. The apartment is also near El Camino Road, which has an abundant supply of stores and places to eat within walking distance. CalTrain is a quick walk.”
