“Joe's place is amazing for a short term or long term stay. There is a full kitchen and the washer and dryer are amazing to have if you plan to stay for a longer period of time. Joe is also extremely helpful and always responds immediately if I had any questions. I can't recommend his place enough!”
“Unlucky, I didn't met Mr. Joe, but through the SMS end EMAIL we handover the mind words...! His home is pretty nice and well managed, especially the environmental protect type. What he mentioned items all there and helped a lot as a tourist like me...! The surroundings are quiet and being more natural feel...! If I visit to Washington on next time, sure I will select Mr. Joe "Home Sweet Home"...! Thank you so much my dear Brother...! May the God bless you and family...! With great respect from Ajaya, India, Kerala, Dubai.”
“Joe was very easy to communicate with, and check in was a breeze. The apartment itself--the basement, in this case--was entirely self-sufficient for me during my stay, considering it had its own bathroom, kitchenette, and couch. I didn't get to hang around much because of my work schedule, but I'll always know that I can find a comfortable stay at Joe's. ”
“Joe was an extremely kind and hospitable host. I didn't see him all that much during my 100-night stay, but he was always accessible and willing to help. The space provided ample space for two, probably even for four if need be. The basement apartment has a private entrance, full kitchen, full-sized bed, and plenty of storage space for clothes (clothes rack, shoe rack, medium closet, dresser, and a nightstand). There's a desk with rolling chair, a modern bathroom with a tub, a washer/dryer (which is shared with Joe), and a nice futon where you can lounge and enjoy watching tv. The internet is fast and reliable and the TV has multiple channels and Netflix availability. The apartment is a convenient 15-minute walk (0.7 miles) from the Rhode Island Metro Station and about 10 minutes away from a grocery store, TJMaxx, and The Home Depot. People in the neighborhood were generally nice, but be cautious when out at night. That said, you should enjoy your stay at this location with a wonderful host, whether it be for a few days or several months.”
“Joe and Chelsea was a great hosts! Communicative and welcoming, Joe is quick to respond and very accommodating with anything you need. They often invited other house guests and I to parties they were hosting. The apartment/home is a renovated rowhouse which is very clean and uses Nest smart home tech! The apartment had plenty of space for clothes with a drawer, stand alone clothes and shoe rack, desk, and a mini closet/pantry. There is a fully functioning kitchenette with an electric stove and microwave with enough counter space to cook small meals. I did not have a car, but there is free street parking. The closest Metro stop (Brentwood/RhodeIsland Av., Red Line) was a good 10-15 minute walk depending on your walking speed and route, but it is just three stops from downtown. Brentwood, like a lot of Northeast DC has a lot of families that have lived there for decades and is in the process of transitioning. The neighbors mostly kept to themselves and reciprocated friendly hellos. With that said, you're in a city, so if you're coming back really late, it's probably best to take an Uber or Lyft. Overall, I had a great time and would highly recommend a stay at Joe's! ”
“Wonderful experience, Joe was such a great host. I enjoyed my stay and appreciated his quick response to my questions. Also, his girlfriend, Chelsea gave me some great suggestions and was so welcoming.”
