“Nice place in a great location. Gadi was responsive and helped us w a few problems. Space was very well stocked with supplies which helped during the first days of the COVID lockdown.”
“Exactly what the sit describes”
“Uncleanliness apartment, We pay for 4 beds and we get only 3. The apartment very old and don’t maintained. The picture don’t show the reality. Save your many and take other place.”
“My girlfriend and I stayed here for a month. The house is lovely, and Elmwood/Rockridge is the best. We did have some trouble with security and with our host. It seems every couple of days, neighbors drop trash into this house’s bin, filling it up completely and sometimes to overflow. One time someone came in through the back gate and scattered trash into the house’s garden, which felt invasive and a little alarming. When we reached out to our host, Gadi blamed us for the trash situation happening and didn’t take it seriously (though a couple days later did send a cleaning person for the big trash pile). It was just weird. A couple of other smaller issues, but the trash dumping was the big one. That said, we stayed even after that because: house is totally solid and the neighborhood is the best.”
“Good location, comfortable and clean apartment, totally independent which is great and also unique in the Bay area. We really liked this unit and will have it in our list as one of the few “top rated” we have in the Bay after trying several Airbnb rentals. Gali was also very responsive in our communications with him. We certainly recommend this place and will try to book it again when possible.”
“Great location! A little over a mile from the university campus. Very walkable area with plenty of food options, a grocery store, and drugstores within walking distance. The kitchen is well stocked. The home itself is true to the pictures. It is a little older, like all homes in the area, but there are some 3-prong outlets in the living room if you're bringing a laptop (2-prong in the bedrooms for cell phones). Both bedrooms have doors which lock, but there is no key for them - great for adults or families with kids big enough to understand, just keep an eye on your little ones if they like to hide and don't follow directions well (mine has autism but we did fine with close supervision). The only thing that bothered me was that the only way to access the garage was through the house and into the basement (laundry area), then back up through the house and out the front door to the garage. To close the garage you will then have to pull your car out, go back through the house to the basement to press the button, up through the house and back out to your car. Kind of weird set up and would be much easier if we just had an access code to the garage from the front of the house. Luckily you probably won't need your car much during your stay. All in all, we had a great time during our stay and the pros far outweighed the con with the garage lol. Thanks Gadi!”
