“Julie communicated well with us and made us feel welcome, offering us great information on the public transit available, and things to do nearby. Overall, it was a good value and we had a nice stay. We particularly enjoyed being able to take MUNI to Ocean Beach and walk back to her place. A few downsides: The MUNI and traffic are very noisy (although Julie did provide earplugs, the noise was masked a bit by a fan, and MUNI stopped running around midnight). Also, the neighborhood is not one of the more interesting ones in SF. That said, there was ample on-street parking, and it felt very safe. Finally, the apartment was well equipped (hair dryer, wi fi, kitchen essentials, wonderfully soft sheets and comfy beds) but a bit run down. In sum, a good experience, but not a super special place.”
“Julie's apartment was a great base for my friends and I to explore the city from. It was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. It's an easy walk to the ocean and Golden Gate Park, and a quick tram into the center. The only negative was that the wifi was pretty slow and patchy. It wasn't a big deal for us, but could be frustrating if you needed to get work done or something. Overall a good experience. Recommended!”
“We loved staying here. It came with two roomy bedrooms with a full kitchen and a family room. The bathroom comes with a shower. Two bad things about this place is that trollies runs right in front of the house and can get very noisy. Also the unit is on the second floor and you have to climb a fairly steep stairs. What we liked about the place is that a Chinese seafood restaurant is only few houses down. And there is a convenience store across the street. The house is ideally located almost center of San Francisco. The Golden Gate Park is just north of this place. Go a few miles to the west and you're at the Pacific Ocean. Go north and there's the Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman's Wharf. Go east and there's Japantown and Chinatown. Overall this place is ideal in terms of location and amenities. A family of up to 6 people can sleep here comfortably. Oh, the ground floor is the owner's computer store.”
“ Julia was very accommodating and helpful and gave us lots of good information about the area. Her Airbnb is very clean and comfortable and convenient for exploring San Francisco. The only to tractor is the trolley line running by the house easy at times. However street noise general is minimal. The same trolley line gives you great access to both the beach and the downtown.”
“Julie is great. The apartment is extremely clean and organized. Check in was easy and communication excellent. Highly recommended. ”
“The place was very clean and perfect for a few night stay in the City. Julie was very helpful with various recommendations. The neighborhood was safe and quiet as far as foot traffic goes. The cable car was a little bit louder than I anticipated (I am a lighter sleeper than I thought). She provided ear plugs, which came in handy.”
