“Noe Valley has the neighborhood feel even while being right in the middle of San Francisco. This location was just a block or so from the neighborhood's heart but just enough off the strip for the extra quietness I prefer while on a business trip. The apartment was clean, stylish and very comfortable. Lloyd was very easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay.”
“Lloyd was an exceptional host. Even though he was out of town he was very responsive and attentive to our needs. He also provided contact numbers for a neighbor and co-host in case we were unable to reach him fast enough. The place was very clean and in an excellent neighborhood for families with kids. Its very safe and you see people walking on the streets at all times of the day. The apartment is within walking distance of many public transportation options and has nice restaurants, coffee shops and parks nearby. There is a kids bookstore and a Whole Foods within walking distance as well. While we were there they had a farmers market where copious families came to shop and have their children play. The apartment is a good size for a small family. It has a decent sized kitchen with a gas stove, French press, Microwave and blender; basically everything we needed. The living room had a nice sofa, clean carpet, cable tv including HBO and toys, which were great for our toddler-aged daughter. Lloyd had a pack n play available which we used for our daughter to sleep in. The place lacks a washer/dryer, which is a bit inconvenient if you are staying for a long time but there are cleaners nearby with cloth-folding services. We put our daughter to bed earlier at night and turning on any lights in the living would brighten the bedroom too much since there is no curtain/cover for the French doors. This made so that we had to hang out in the dark every night. Lloyd said he was planning to come up with a solution so future guests with small children won't have the same problem. Also there was a crazy heat wave in San Francisco during our stay, which made the apartment and bedroom very hot. Lloyd said he is going to add fans in case the unusually hot climate becomes a recurring problem. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and the lovely neighborhood. We felt right at home. If the host adds the fans and an easy way to block the light going through the French doors we'll definitely stay there again when we return to San Francisco.”
“Fantastic place to stay! Very clean, just the right size and great location to shops and food. Really all the great or hip SF food places or bars are within 1-2 miles tops. It’s an amazing area and very safe. Lloyd was amazing and got my new husband and I a reservation at one of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to. The only thing is that if you’re a very light sleeper like me, there was a friend of the owners staying over at the house house sitting and he played loud music periodically (not a huge issue as it was at night) and was up pretty early the first few days which woke me up around 6. If you are good or even decent sleeper then this place is perfect. No washer/dryer but other than that literally it was the perfect place!!!”
“This is a great home base in the Noe Valley. Easy to catch the bus or train nearby, and plenty of neighborhood spots for eating. Lloyd was very communicative before and during our stay. He was also really helpful in providing a travel crib and high chair. ”
“Nice, clean apartment in a fabulous location. Lloyd was communicative, accommodating and incredibly helpful. Absolutely loved our stay and would recommend to anyone.”
“Cute neighborhood, walking distance to a lot of cute restaurants.”
