“The unit and property were clean and well decorated. I was very satisfied with my stay with the one major exception: the host did not have the unit and parking space ready by the move-in date as agreed, and did not notify me in advance about this. I was not even contacted about move-in instructions until after 3pm on the day I was supposed to move-in (despite move-in time being listed as 3pm). This created a last-minute logistical hassle and a lot of stress, and also required me to delay my move by 2 days since the following day I was in an all day meetings. To make matters worse, the host only agreed to reimburse me for one day rather than two -- suggesting that it was "my choice" to not move in the next day, even though I had no choice in the matter as I was not given any advanced notice that the unit and parking would not be ready on time. This is really awful customer service and -- despite really liking the property -- I would not risk dealing with this host again as there is clearly little respect for guests.”
