“Jane was a great host! We had a great time at Jane's place and her studio is located in the best area of LA. Nice restaurants and stores wleking distance to her place. I recommend it!”
“The guesthouse was exactly as advertised, comfortable, clean and a great location. I would definitely stay there again.”
“We had a great stay at the guest house! We had a question when we got there, and Jane was quick to get right back to us. It was wonderful to wake up in this light, airy space, jump on one of the bikes provided, and ride down hip Abbott Kinney Blvd and along the beach. The house is on a quiet, pretty tree-lined street close to interesting shops, eateries, the beach, and scenic canals. We had a car, and it was also a good jumping-off place for further travels. Street parking was readily available, except for one night when returning late we had to park a block away to avoid having to move the car early in the morning for street-cleaning regulations - not a big deal. There is so much to do in the area, that we did not spend a lot of time indoors, but if we did, I would have enjoyed looking at more of the plentiful art and architecture books around the place!”
“I really loved this beautiful little apartment. I loved the paint stained floors, loft style ceilings and skylights. The french balcony doors opening to the back ally provided a refreshing flow of air. My only issue was that it was a little hot at night and the fan/ac unit didn't provide much help. I picked up a cheap fan and it solved the problem. I loved leaving the french doors open during sunset and early evening but mosquitoes would sneak in at that time too. We bought the incense coils after the first night and weren't bothered by them for the rest of our stay. I would suggest Zinque at Lincoln and Abbot Kinney for breakfast and Gjelina, Saltair and the Tasting Kitchen for delicious dinner options. ”
“Just looking at the photo of the Art Loft as I write this makes me want to be there all over again. The place felt perfect for my husband and I the moment we stepped inside, with a comfortable bed, hot shower, and wonderful open feeling. The location was particularly convenient for exploring the shops and restaurants on Abbott Kinney and for walking the interesting side streets and neighborhoods. Breakfast at the French Market Cafe, just a few blocks away, is not to be missed, especially the soft boiled eggs in perfect white egg cups. I'm eager to stay there again the next time we visit our son. ”
“It was a very bright, open and airy space in a great part of town. Jane was extremely accomodating - when I had an issue with the internet she helped me sort it out right away. I'd definitely stay here again ”
