“Pros: I rented this cute little cottage (#11) which is separate from the main house at 219 Ramona for 3 months and it was very comfortable. It has a great location with close proximity to Stanford, restaurants, grocery shopping and easy to access the CalTrain to get to San Jose or San Fran. Most of the other tenants were other young professionals or post grad/ doctoral students at the university and very friendly. The Landlord was very responsive whenever I had a question or concern and it was dealt with promptly. I requested a parking spot when I rented a vehicle and there was plenty of parking right beside my unit (extra $100/month). They maintain the property and unit very well. The unit is small but the kitchen is very efficient. With the skylight and windows the unit feels bright and airy. Onsite coin laundry was convenient- a little expensive but there is a dry cleaner/ laundromat near by. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet, and only steps away from University Avenue. Lots of unexpected appliances like a waffle iron, toaster oven, blender and grill were great. Cons: The street is a little dark if you are walking home late at night, occasionally I took an Uber from the CalTrain station instead of walking. There are sensor lights around the property itself. I went out and bought all new sheets and towels as the ones there looked a little old and I wasn't sure how well they were laundered. Otherwise the apartment looked clean upon arrival. ”
